カンボジアにルーツを持ち、パリに生まれ、モントリオールで育ちました。現在はプノンペンを拠点に、FT Galleryを運営し、Murals for Cambodia Festivalを主宰しています。現地の若手アーティストを支援しながら、グラフィティの文字表現に、アンコール・ワットで学んだクメール伝統の装飾文様「クバッハ」を組み合わせた独自のスタイルを展開しています。
 
FONKi was born in Paris with Cambodian roots and raised in Montreal. Currently based in Phnom Penh, he runs FT Gallery and organize the Murals for Cambodia Festival. While supporting local emerging artists, FONKi developped his own graffiti lettering in kbach style, inspired by traditional Khmer ornamental motif at Angkor Wat. He also co-produced the award-winning feature documentary The Roots Remain.
